Reduced Rate Bookings

The usual fee for booking a court is £5 per court per hour.  However, Thornbury Town Council is very keen to make the courts as accessible as possible and is therefore offering the facility to book courts at the reduced rate of £3 per hour per court for those on a lower income.

In order to qualify for this reduced rate, you will need to be aged 18+ and in receipt of one or more of the following - Jobseekers Allowance, Income Support, Council Tax Benefit, Housing Benefit, Employment Support Allowance, Incapacity Benefit, Disability Living Allowance, Carers Allowance, Pension Credit or Universal Credit (when not working, tax only).

If you wish to apply for the facility to book at a reduced rate, you will need to complete and return a Reduced Rate Booking Fee Application Form which is available on our website or you can contact us to send you one by email or by post.  We will need to see original and recent proof of your receipt of one or more of the stated benefits.  You will need to reapply for this facility every year.

Once you have returned your appliction form to Thornbury Town Council and produced the appropriate evidence, your application will be processed and you will be set up on the booking system with the facility to make reduced rate bookings.  Full details will be provided to you.

If you have any queries regarding this application process, please contact Thornbury Town Council (see Contact Us).
