The 2nd match of the season saw newly promoted Castor & Ailsworth make the long journey to Needingworth to do battle against the formidable partnership of Chris and Colin, supported by Mark B and Neil.

On a very pleasant warm evening, by the time the travelling supporters arrived to watch the tennis, both Needingworth pairs were already one set up and on viewing the match, you could see why.  The Needingworth players put on a stunning show of tennis.  The serving, the angles achieved on returns and the crisp net play could only have been inspired by the 1st day of Wimbledon fever.  Tonight's win was nothing less than textbook tennis and an absolute pleasure to watch.
