Family Cups
These are fun, friendly tournaments aimed at younger red/orange ball players. They are a chance to play doubles with an adult relative or family member in a fun and informal tournament. The tournament is usually organised by age/ability (eg red ball, orange ball, etc) so as to be suitable the junior particpants . For younger juniors, matches are played on smaller courts with mini-nets. Matches are timed and played in round robin format, with all points counting towards a tally for the day.
The tournament is very flexible and can last between 1-2 hours. They are sometimes incorporated into coaching sessions but can also be run as a standalone event depending on the time available and numbers involved.
Support the Club and through the EHDC Lottery
Club events such as family coaching days and tournaments such as this one are free to particpants. If you'd like to support the club so it can continue to run similar events in the future then you can purchase EHDC Community lottery tickets through the club. The Club is a beneficiary of the EHDC Community Lottery and all club funds from the lottery are used by the club to help more people play more tennis in Liss.
