It's time to enter the Club Championships for 2025.

There are men's and women's singles categories, men's and women's doubles and mixed doubles too. Get involved and maybe you will be holding a trophy later this year!

Its free to enter and the competition is open to all members. Adults and juniors are welcome to enter, although there will be separate junior championships for uner 14's and under 19's

Once again, after the format was a success last year, the championships will be a knock-out draw using the FA cup as a model - stronger players/regular team players/previous champions will enter the draw in later rounds. The number of rounds will depend on the number of entrants and the aim is to complete the finals by the end of November.

 Both adults and juniors are welcome to enter, although there will be separate under 14's and under 19's junior championships as well.

 Every match in the competition will be 2 sets, with a 7-point tie break at 6 games all. If the match is tied at 1 set all, a 10-point tie break will decide the match.

 Each round must be completed by the date specified when the draw is made.

 Everyone who wants to take part in any of the categories must complete the entry form (one per player which covers all the categories the player wishes to enter).

 For the doubles categories, both partners must complete the form and enter the name of their partner

 If you don't have a partner for the doubles competitions but would like to play, please complete the entry form and we will do our best to pair entrants looking for a partner.

 Please do enter, even if you don't normally play competitive tennis - you won't meet last year's champion in the first round! Put your entry in now by completing this short form!

Book now for the the fun and friendly, time-honoured End of Season Tournament on Sunday 28th September, starting at 13:00.

Everyone is welcome and the format is that you will play short matches of just four games with lots of different partners, so you don't need a partner to enter.

Juniors who can play with normal balls, serve and sustain a rally are also very welcome to enter.

The number of players is limited to 24, so book early!

It's free to enter and there will be prizes. Keeping up our tradition, we will have a raffle to support the event - raffle prizes would be much appreciated.

Bring your own picnic and drinks to sustain you during the tournament. 

Family and friends are very welcome to spectate and enjoy the tennis. We will be hoping for good weather!

The AGM will follow the tournament at 16:30. This is usually short and will be completed by 17:30. The formal AGM information will be emailed to members shortly.

We will be serving tea and cake from 16:00 to accompany the prize giving and the AGM.

Even if you can't take part in the tournament, come along at 16:00 for refreshments, the prize giving and the AGM to celebrate the success of the club this year.
