Rushmere Tennis Club Policies

At Rushmere Tennis Club we have the following policies in place. Click on the policy to open the document:

Severe Weather

Please be mindful of weather conditions when playing. The court surface may become slippery when damp or wet. The courts are especially dangerous in frost and snow.

When there are icy conditions, nothing must be put on the courts. No substances or water must be put on the court surface, the only tools that can be used are the brushes or leaf blowers that are supplied – no hard implements such as spades. Anything else could damage the court surface which will have long-term playing problems and expense.

Please note that players use the courts and facilities at their own risk. Rushmere Tennis Club cannot accept responsibility for injuries incurred on these courts or in proximity to the courts at any time or under any circumstances.

For example, playing during inclement weather conditions or with incorrect footwear is entirely undertaken at players’ own personal risk.

First Aid Kit and Accidents

Anyone who uses the facilities at Rushmere Tennis Club uses them at their own risk. If an accident does occur and a first aid kit is needed, it can be found in the kitchen along side accident report forms. Please ensure a form is completed, including  what was used from the first aid box.

If a form has been completed on-site, please put it in the back of the box and notify the sectary who will then file the form confidentially. If a form is completed online, please email it to Phil Walker.

If you have any queries  please contact the Club Secretary, Phil Walker  philgwalker@yahoo.co.uk
