On Sunday  27th September at 10:00am , under strict Covid-19 safety guidelines, our competition for the prestigious SALTC titles commenced. The day was gloomy, the tension was palpable, the coins were tossed.  Over the next few hours the new ball tins were opened,  the rackets were drawn and the players played the wonderful game we all love.

I can now reveal the final scores and our congratulations go to the players themselves, their supporters, and their sponsors (I'm getting a little carried away here!!)

Men's singles: Andre Raath beat David Stead 6-3 6-4

Ladies singles: Jenny Stokes    beat Samantha Broom 3-6 6-4 7-5
