The Handicap Tournament is one of the most inclusive and entertaining competitions of the year, giving players of all standards the chance to compete on a level playing field. Covering Men’s and Ladies’ Singles, Doubles, and Mixed Doubles, the tournament follows a knockout format – but with a twist. Each player is assigned a handicap by the club’s handicap committee, helping to balance matches between stronger and developing players and creating plenty of close, unpredictable contests.

Running from July through to October, the tournament builds towards a Finals Day in October, where the remaining players compete for the titles. It’s a competition known for its great spirit, surprising results, and opportunities for everyone to go deep into the draw – making it a firm favourite on the club calendar.
