Team Captains
The role of Team Captain is a key to the active wellbeing of our club. Thanks to those that take on this important role!
Role & Responsibilities
- Select team squads with Club Captains
- Select teams for individual matches
- Ensure that courts are booked on Clubspark for all club matches well in advance
- Ensure child protection paperwork is signed where juniors are team members
- Sign for match balls from the clubhouse ball locker for home matches
- Liaise with other clubs regarding bad weather cancellations and rearrangements
- Re-arrange cancelled matches and ensure they are played by the league deadlines
- Ensure home match results are entered, and check away match results are recorded correctly
- Ensure match disputes are resolved where possible, involving Club Captains as a last resort
