  • HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER OF THE CLUB?

  • WHERE DO I GET MY CLUB HOUSE KEY FOB?

If you would like a key fob which will give you access into the clubhouse, please contact our Hon Secretary 

  • HOW DO I BOOK A COURT?                            

There are two ways to make a court booking.  Either through the website or by downloading the Clubspark Booker App on your Smart phone through the App Store.

Website booking:

Click on 'Booking' tab on the website.

Click on Calendar

Choose a date.  Choose the court you would like to play on and click on the box that corresponds with the time you want to start playing.

To extend the time - where the time is displayed, click on the down arrow after 'to' and extend to time you want.

Click ‘Continue Booking’. All done.

Club Name:  Storrington Lawn Tennis Club

Go to Book a court.

It should automatically say Storrington Lawn Tennis Club.

Work your way down the options for Court, Date and Time required and then press book now.  If you click on the grid in the top right corner of your screen you can view in different ways.  (This is a very quick way to book courts)

  • HOW DO I BOOK A COURT FOR A JUNIOR MEMBER?

  • CAN JUNIORS PLAY ON ANY COURT AT ANY TIME?

Yes - providing they have booked a court as per the instructions above

  • ARE TENNIS BALLS PROVIDED?                                   

Tennis balls are only provided for matches and coaching sessions.  You are required to provide your own for personal use.

  • HOW MUCH DO FLOODLIGHTS COST?                     

£4 per hour (£1 coins needed).  The boxes for the coins are situated inside the clubhouse.

  • HOW DO I ENTER THE CLUB TOURNAMENT?                

Details will be sent to all members prior to entry.  Entry forms and tournament rules can be downloaded from the website by clicking HERE

  • DO I HAVE TO SIGN IN ANYWHERE WHEN I PLAY?  

No - you just need to have booked a court by going to the Booking section on the website.  Please ensure you cancel any court bookings as early as possible if you know that you are not going to make it.

  • CAN I BRING GUESTS TO PLAY AT THE CLUB? 

Yes - you are very welcome to bring a guest to play at the club, subject to a fee of £5 per visit and a maximum of 3 times per year.  More frequent visitors would be encouraged to consider joining the club. 

  • HOW DO I BOOK THE SLINGER  BALL MACHINE?

The Slinger Ball machine enables you to practice shots on your own.  It is portable, lightweight and quick and easy to set up.  If available, please book Court 8 for ball machine practice. It is available to hire at a charge of £10 per hour.  Balls are provided.  Please contact Nigel Matthews 

  • CAN THE CLUB SUPPLY EQUIPMENT OR DO RACKET REPAIRS/RE-STRINGING?

Contact Nigel Matthews (club professional) for details and keep an eye on clubhouse notice board for occasional sales. Re-stringing starts from £18, and can be done quickly. 

  • IS THERE A BAR/RESTAURANT AT THE CLUB?  

No - but there is a fully equipped kitchen in the clubhouse to cater for social events, tournaments and inter club matches.  Members are free to use the kitchen at any time to make tea, coffee, cold drinks etc. (all provided by the club).

  • WHAT IS THE 100 CLUB AND HOW DO I JOIN?

We run a fundraiser called the '100 club'.   Half the money raised goes in prizes, half goes to the club - usually towards making the clubhouse and outdoor space more attractive.  It costs £24 per annum and if all numbers are taken the prize pot is £1,200. Each month there are two prizes of £50 and £25 with three larger prizes in December. New participants are always welcome - more members mean more prizes. Please click HERE to find out how to join

  • HOW DO I APPLY FOR WIMBLEDON TICKETS?  

If you wish to be included in the Wimbledon ballot click HERE to find out how to apply for tickets. Even if you do not wish to attend the Championships, please consider joining the LTA if you are not already a member. This would be of benefit both to you and the club.
