The future of Tennis in Magor and Undy
We are delighted to be launching a new partnership to support and grow tennis provision in the Magor and Undy area with Kari Davies Tennis.
Kari Davies has been spearheading tennis for many years including the design and delivery of sessions for both adults and juniors, plus all administration, competitions, school, disability, and outreach links.
She has been recognised on a national scale for her efforts including being named Tennis Wales Development Coach of the Year 2020, and for the 2022-23 season is partnering with Ellie Lewis and Rob Wedlake to continue the expansion of the programme.
This isnt the first time we have worked together. Kari was a National SheRallies ambassador for Wales on an LTA Women & Girls initiative managed by Ellie Lewis in her previous role at Tennis Wales. Ellie quoted: "We are incredibly excited to welcome Kari as a new partner to Tennis Squad. Kari is a fantastic coach who has worked incredibly hard to build the programme at Magor to where it is today. We can't wait to get started to see where the future takes us in growing the game and getting more people hooked on tennis for life!"
