Mini Challenger Tour coming to South Wales

We are delighted to be bringing the Mini Challenger Tour to South Wales! This is a new global initiative from the Progress Tour who provide highly respected prize-money events for aspiring professionals and are now branching out to support the 11U tennis community.

The Vision

The vision of the Mini Challenger Tour is to nurture, support and connect an international and diverse community of young tennis players and parents at a pivotal stage of their development, through the provision of an innovative and inclusive series of values-driven, fun and interactive mini tennis events, accompanied by a world class educational support programme.

The Tour

The Mini Challenger Tour offers a unique integrated individual and team competition format for children of all levels of experience, up to eleven years old.  The aim of the circuit is to introduce young children and fledgling tennis parents to competition in a fun, interactive and informative way, while also instilling values of teamwork and sportsmanship. By offering an element of both individual and team competitive formats, and with player awards underpinned by a solid set of values, players and parents have the opportunity to start their tennis journey the right way

Parent Support

Central to the Mini Challenger Tour, is the provision of a holistic support programme for parents of young tennis players, providing them with a wealth of resources, including live workshops with leading experts, an online wellbeing programme,  athletic development programme and a whole lot more - we believe that through better guidance and support at this early stage of development, a healthier approach to junior competition can flourish…
