In 2013 Maryport Tennis Club's juniors section were awarded a grant from Margi Tweedy who was the owner of the fantastic OnCourt Tennis magazine. The funding was to enable our juniors to go on tour and play in competitive events.

Therefore we set off for a week's fantastic Tennis at the Hoole Open in Cheshire. It was ideal as it was a grade 4 with many different age groups so we could cater for a lot of children with their Parents coming too. 

With varying levels of success from consolation winners to main draw semi finals, finals and winners it was a great week with a Toby Carvery in the hotel each night too!
