How to find us
Set in the Kent countryside under the North Downs, the club seeks to offer a welcoming, sociable, recreational and competitive tennis environment, for adults and juniors of all abilities. Club members enjoy all aspects of tennis including taking part in regular organised club sessions, social events, individual and group coaching, and actively competing in the Kent LTA League.
The club looks to offer something to every member, young and old and no matter at what level of ability. Whether you are looking for competitive tennis, social tennis or you just enjoy the game to get fit, we hope to make you feel welcome. The club actively supports the development of tennis for juniors and provides junior coaching programmes and junior events, in partnership with our LTA accredited Coaching provider, LoveSport.
The tennis courts are adjacent to the village hall and recreation ground in Trottiscliffe, Kent. The courts have a Matchplay XL carpet surface and are based in a rural setting overlooking farmland, a beech hedge surrounds two sides of the courts to help minimise wind effects. Both courts are floodlit and the clubhouse has toilet facilities and is surrounded by a decked court viewing area. The car park to the front of the clubhouse can accommodate approximately twelve vehicles with additional parking available by the adjacent Village Hall.
The club welcomes both adult, junior, and family membership applications whether you are new to the game or are a more experienced player looking to play competitive and LTA league tennis. Please visit the membership page to view the various membership packages and prices. If you are interested in joining the club or have any queries, please contact the Membership Secretary, Dawn Constable to discuss your requirements. Dawn can be contacted by phone on 07803 953481 or by email at [email protected]
Members can book courts by using the calendar-based booking system available on the 'Court Booking' page of the website. Access to the Court Booking System is only available to members who are logged in to the website. There is no charge for members booking a court however if guests are invited to play a visitor fee will be due. Public Court Access
The courts are available during daylight hours to local residents who are not members of the Club, however, access to the clubhouse by the public is restricted. Public bookings are based upon a 'Pay and Play' approach and local residents can book a court up to a week in advance for a duration of between 1 to 1.5 hours. The cost is £20 per court for 1 hour and £30 per court for 1.5 hours and visitors will need to create an online account in order to make a booking and pay online using a debit or credit card. To comply with Health & Safety policy please ensure that you list the full names of all the players participating when making a court booking. Once a public booking has been confirmed and payment validated an automated email will confirm the booking and details on the access code for court entry.
