Trottiscliffe LTC

The tennis courts are adjacent to the village hall and recreation ground. They have a Matchplay XL carpet surface and are based in a rural setting overlooking farmland; a beech hedge surrounds two sides of the courts to help minimise wind effects. Both courts are floodlit using environmentally friendly LED technology, and the clubhouse includes washroom facilities and is surrounded by a decked court viewing area. The car park to the front of the clubhouse can accommodate approximately twelve vehicles, with additional parking available at the adjacent Village Hall.
 

Coaching

Coaching services are provided through a partnership with Frankie's Tennis Academy.
The Club is keen to provide opportunities to develop and enhance our members’ fitness, tennis techniques, tactics, and match play skills whether you are a beginner, an intermediate player, or a seasoned competitor.  Various ability-based group coaching sessions are available, along with courses, including Rusty Rackets and Cardio Tennis.  An active junior term-based coaching programme, junior holiday camps and Parent & Child events are available.  Further information on coaching is available on the Coaching page.
 

Ball Machine

In addition to coaching services, regular club-organised sessions, and Kent League participation, a Slinger ball machine is available for member use. The ball machine is kindly sponsored by Ashmax Associates and is consequently available free of charge to members. The unit is battery-operated and includes a remote control and an integrated supply of tennis balls, making it completely self-contained and easy to transport and use. Court Booking

Members can book courts using the calendar-based booking system available on the Court Booking page of the website. There is no charge for members booking a court, provided they are logged in to the Booking System as registered Club members. If guests are invited to play as part of a member booking, then a visitor fee applies. 

The courts are available during daylight hours to residents who are not members of the Club. However, access to the clubhouse is restricted.  Public bookings are based upon a court hire fee based on the duration, not participant numbers. Non-members can reserve a court up to a week in advance for a minimum of 30 minutes and a maximum of one hour.  Public bookings are limited to three sessions in seven days. Visitors must create an online LTA account to make a booking and pay online using a debit or credit card.  To comply with our Health & Safety policy, a list of the full names of all participating players will be required when making a public court booking.  Once the booking has been confirmed and payment validated, an automated email will confirm the booking and details on the access code for court entry. Kent LTA League

As a local village club, TTC takes pride in its achievements in the Kent League. Shortly after the club's formation, TTC entered a team into the Kent LTA League in 1995. A record of the league trophies the Club's teams have successfully won is available by clicking here.

The Club is keen to promote competitive tennis and currently enters ladies', men's, mixed, and veterans double teams in the Kent LTA League. All members of a reasonable playing standard are encouraged to put themselves forward to play in the league teams and enjoy competitive matches against other tennis clubs. Policies and Rules

The Club maintains a series of policies and guidelines covering the various aspects of Health and safety, Data Protection, Safeguarding, and Diversity/Inclusion. These policies and guidelines are designed to comply with national legislation and LTA regulations and help ensure safe and environmentally friendly facilities for our members, guests, and visitors.

All members and visitors should also ensure that they are familiar with these policies and the club rules regarding the use of the courts and other facilities. The Club Policies and Rules are available from the ‘Policies’ page, which is available via the main menu.

Any accidents or significant injuries must be recorded as part of the Club's commitment to providing a safe and risk-free environment.  In addition to meeting regulatory requirements, these records help ensure that future risks can be minimised.  Please select the 'Accident Reporting Form' link below to record any accidents or injuries.
