Coaching Services

Overview

The Club is keen to provide opportunities to develop and enhance members’ fitness, tennis techniques, tactics, and match play skills, whether you are a beginner, an intermediate player, or a seasoned competitor.  Coaching services at the club are provided by Frankies Tennis Academy, which offers adult and junior tennis coaching at the Club. Members can join Group Coaching sessions and attend periodic courses and events that are available for various playing standards and abilities.  Private lessons are also available and should be arranged directly with the Coach.

Please contact Frankie Faulkes, the Head Coach, for details on the various adult and junior courses available and how to book places online.  Tel: 07736 578507 Email: frankiestennis@hotmail.com

Adult Coaching

Regular weekly group coaching sessions run throughout the year, with daytime and evening slots available.  The adult group sessions are organised by player ability, including improver, intermediate, and advanced playing standards.  Beginners are encouraged to have a few private lessons before joining one of the group sessions.
In addition to regular group coaching sessions, various short-term courses and events are held throughout the year. These include rusty rackets courses, walking tennis, fun tournaments, and a regular Cardio Tennis session on Saturday mornings.

Junior Coaching

The club is keen to introduce children to tennis, develop their tennis skills, and assist with personal development in a safe, friendly, and supportive environment. If you want to introduce your child to a sport, tennis is an excellent option on many levels. Our junior courses and events develop children’s tennis abilities, skills, and other essential aspects of their physical and mental well-being.
TTC welcomes new juniors to join the Club as part of a Family Membership or as individual Junior Members with a nominated Guardian.  Junior courses follow the LTA Youth framework so youngsters can practice and play using the appropriate court size and ball type in a safe and secure environment.
