Group Sessions
The Club is keen to provide opportunities for members of all ages and abilities to participate in organised sessions. The group tennis sessions are organised by ability so that all members can enjoy doubles tennis and meet others socially. In addition to club tennis sessions, there are associated coach-led activities, including Walking Tennis and Pickleball.
The club uses the WhatsApp Messaging application to facilitate communication among members. Dedicated WhatsApp groups are available for the various group sessions. Upon joining the club, new members are automatically enrolled in the overall TTC WhatsApp Community and are encouraged to subscribe to the relevant dedicated WhatsApp groups.
Evening Rotas
The club organises three evening mixed doubles sessions for members. The sessions are rotation-based, and schedules are published on a seasonal basis. A fee is charged to cover the cost of tennis balls and the use of floodlights. There are three evening rota sessions, which are organised according to playing ability to provide a reasonably consistent standard of play. The rota schedules are available to view on the Members page of the website.
Sam Robinson is the rota coordinator, and members wishing to join one of the following rota sessions should contact Sam in the first instance and also discuss which evening would be most suitable for your playing standard. Tel: 07912 097588 Email: sammiejp82@gmail.com

Walking Tennis
Walking Tennis is safe, fun, inclusive, and a fantastic way to stay active. It’s a game open to anyone - whether you’re a lifelong tennis player, a complete beginner or just need a bit more time to get into the swing of things, you can give the game a go in a supportive setting. Because age isn't a barrier for playing tennis, older people can keep their minds and bodies active while also enjoying the social aspect of being part of a tennis community.
