LTA Orange Youth (Ages 8-9 years)

LTA Orange Youth is suitable for players aged 8-9 years and helps children develop a rounded game. Here we move to a bigger court using an orange ball and children will begin to understand the rules of tennis while developing specific tactics and how to problem-solve on the court. 

Develop a rounded game. Time to throw in some tactics, problem-solving, and guides to sportsmanship and leadership. At this stage children will know all of the rules of tennis and will be able to serve and return in a match. 

Starter: Learn basic strokes, rules, and understand basic tennis tactics.

Intermediate: Develop consistency, control, and a rounded game with some new tactics. We will also add serve and return in matchplay.
