WESTONING TENNIS CLUB – OPEN TO EVERYONE

Westoning Tennis Club has been in the village for over 60 years. It used to be located where the current children’s play area is, opposite the school. Many people think the tennis courts belong to the school or Parish Council which, they don’t.

Westoning Tennis Club is a privately owned sports facility, affiliated to Bedfordshire LTA and a recognised tennis venue. You can view our certificate here. The club is made up of several committee members, all living in or around the area of Westoning.

We believe in providing the best facilities we can to our members and the local community. The tennis club welcomes all ages and skill levels to the club. We don’t discriminate and we don’t judge; in fact we are quite a friendly bunch really!

You don’t have to be an Andy Murray or a Johanna Konta to join the club, nor do you have to drive a Range Rover. Tennis for us is about enjoying yourself and we’ve thrown away all of the typical and traditional preconceptions of what a tennis club is.

We have members who simply play on their own with their children and family through to members who play competitively in league matches. The choice is entirely up to you. We hold regular social events, such as ‘tennis court’ BBQ’s, dinners and various other meet-ups.

We’ve designed our membership packages based on unlimited play. That means exactly what it says – play whenever you want with no restrictions.
