May 18th saw the club Open Day. We celebrated the newly re-surfaced courts with a host of games and activities for members and non members alike.
Luke Charters MP officially opened the new courts, and even picked up a racket himself to give tennis a try. We were also joined by Karen Mitchell, President of Yorkshire tennis.
Our club coach, Sasha provided some fantastic games for the many children who turned up. It was great to see so many young future players picking up a racket.
