Welcome to Copmanthorpe Tennis Club
We are a friendly club in the heart of the village of Copmanthorpe, York, and welcome players of any age, any standard.
Registered with the LTA, we encourage people to get involved whatever their level of play.
- Three all-weather floodlit courts, available all year
- Clubhouse with kitchen (loos and changing rooms available in the Sports Club next door)
- Mens, Ladies and Mixed teams competing in local leagues
- Social tennis sessions – all welcome
- Junior sessions and individual coaching
- Return to Tennis sessions for those who havent played for a while – just turn up and have a go
- A range of membership packages
We have tennis for almost everyone. There are competative teams playing in the local leagues and a large section of social players who come and play for the sport and mix in with all standards.
Matches are played in the summer months from June to August. There are sessions for both Men and Ladies match players to train and practice, Social tennis for everyone to mix and enjoy, and 3 morning sessions for social tennis followed by coffee and biscuits. Also a growing Junior group under coach Jack Wood on Wednesday early evenings.
Families can join and book individual courts as suits their own times. Parents of Under 11's can accompany them on the courts without being a member.
