From April to October we hold a monthly mixed-doubles 'American' tournament. Entry costs £5 and includes tea. It is organised by club members Roger King and Bridget Denny and is always well attended and very enjoyable. It is very much a mixed-ability standard and a great way to experience competitive tennis in a relaxed environment. A handicap system plus strategic pairings ensure as even a playing field as is possible in such events.

Weather permitting, all matches are completed in the one afternoon. It always starts promptly at 1pm and is normally held on the second Sunday of the month.
