Junior Coaching

We have a fantastic coaching programme at Ashbourne Tennis Club which caters for all ages and abilities from the age of 3 upwards. For our younger players, we run sessions using the LTA mini tennis programme which provides the perfect introduction to the sport for children aged between 4 and 10 years. At each stage the game is tailored to fit different age groups with different sized courts and balls. Children then progress through the full ball coaching programme which takes them through to the adult game.

We run our coaching programme in full term blocks and you can sign up for the programme starting on Monday 15th April 2024, Thursday 18th April 2024 and Saturday 20th April 2024 by following the links below. You can join a coaching course part way through - you don't have to wait until the next block of sessions (providing there are still spaces). Please contact Aidan Robson - contat details below. Mini Red & Orange Ball (Under 9 yrs old ) 5:00pm- 6:00pm

Junior Full Ball Under 12's 6:00 - 7:00pm

Thursday Mini & Junior Coaching

Mini Red (Under 8yrs): 4:00pm - 5:00pm

Green (9-11 years old): 5:00pm - 6:00pm

Full Ball 2 Session (Under 18yrs): 6:00pm - 7:00pm

Saturday Mini & Junior Coaching

Mini Red Ball Level 1 Session (Under 8yrs) : 9:00am - 10:00am

Mini Orange Session (9 and Unders): 10:00am - 11:00am

Green Ball and Full Ball 1 (10 years old +) 11:00am - 12:00pm

Full Ball 2 : 12:00pm - 1:00pm
