May CLUB TOURNAMENT STARTS

We're hoping to run another tournament this year, launching in May and running through the summer in a series of knock-out rounds - men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles - before a Finals Day on a Sunday in mid-September. Watch this space for your invitation!

All Saturdays in June, JUNIORS LIVING IN BAMFORD INVITED TO TRY OUT THE HITTING WALL 830am

With kind support from the Bamford Carnival committee, we've put up a hitting wall! And a big part of our motivation is to see more young people locally using the club. We're running drop-in sessions every Saturday morning in June that Bamford juniors are welcome to come along to, to see and try the hitting wall!

Sunday 22nd June, WORKDAY, 2-4pm at the club

The club has lovely but large grounds, as well as the clubhouse and courts, and we rely on the good will of our members to maintain them all.

Please join us if you have time, inclination and tools and can help out.

Stay for social tennis afterwards.

Monday 14th July OPEN DAY 6-8pm at the club

As part of the Bamford Carnival celebrations, come along to meet some members, have a hit, try out some Cardio Tennis, and see if you'd like to become a member. All standards of player are welcome.

Sunday 28 September FINALS DAY, at the club

The final of each of the draws -  men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles - will take place on the same day, with some impressive silverware to be won!

Finals’ Day is a fun day for everyone, not just those taking part in the tournament.  There’ll be good tennis to watch, hopefully good weather, and a picnic too :)

Sunday 12th October, WORKDAY, 11am at the club

The club has lovely but large grounds, as well as the clubhouse and courts, and we rely on the good will of our members to maintain them all.

Starting after social tennis, please join us if you have time, inclination and tools and can help out. Jobs are likely to include weeding and hedge cutting.

November tbc AGM

Once a year, in November, the club has its AGM, to reflect on the year just gone and plan for the year ahead. And - usually - to eat curry too. All members welcome!
