Wednesday saw the return of Jason and Mark T to the Mens team after injury kept them out of the David Lloyd Match the previous Friday. David Lloyd C beat a Blofield team of Robbie, Anton, Colin and Mark Risley convincingly 40-24 making it three losses in a row, after what seemed to be such a promising start to our Division 4 experience.

With a strong Blofield Team, Brooke B were the visitors this Wednesday and with a couple of their young players back from University, we knew it would be tough. The first string matches saw both Blofield pairs take the lead, Anton and Mark winning 9-7, with Robbie and Jason winning 10-6. Grass is a home advantage, but after time, the Brooke players started to aclimatise in the second set of matches. Both pairs fought well but the younger players of Brooke beat Mark and Anton 9-7 with the reverse result on the other court. Overall a win for Blofield 35-29 to 'stop the rot' and one more win should see us remain in Div 4 next year.

The next match is next Tuesday at home against Brooke.

Meanwhile the ladies team of Dawn, Karen, Sandra, and Ros played East Anglia Tennis & Squash Club C at Blofield. Matches were played on the hard courts due to earlier rain and the result was a 26-38 win to East Anglia Tennis & Squash Club.

Next week sees the ladies play two matches - the first on Tuesday away to Cromer and on Wednesday the re-arranged home match against Easton.
