It is with great sadness that I report the passing of John Clarke on 1 April 2026 aged 94, who was a member of the club for many years. I talked to his son David at the club on Tuesday, when he shared the news with me. Our thoughts are with John's family at this difficult time. John was a loving Father to David and Suzi, Grandad to Robbie, Alex, Georgia, Adam and Great-Grandad to Olivia.

David has donated a bench in memory of John and Sheila Clarke weho were both long term members of the Club. This has been situated in between courts 2 & 3 to be enjoyed by all. David and his family will be provided with access codes to the courts so that they can sit and reflect on this new bench.
