What a difference a year makes - This years Open Day was blessed with Sunshine, minimal wind, a group of enthusiastic volunteers and lots of new people of all ages turning up to play and enjoy the coaching sessions. Everyone enjoyed the day and new players gave positive feedback about the facilities and coaching, with 14 signing up on the day/over the weekend and a few more indicating they will join over the coming days.

A big thank you to the members who helped with leaflet drops, banners and posters, setting up, putting up gazebo, baking some excellent cakes and sausage rolls for the refreshments, selling the same cakes and sausage rolls with tea coffe and squash (helping raise £107.50 on the day!), welcoming, playing with and talking to potential new members about our Club and for helping pack up at the end. A big thank you to our Head Coach Chris for organising the coaching sessions which were popular and carried on throughout the day.

Everyone's time, enthusiasm and contributions in whatever form are greatly appreciated and helped make the day a big success.
