The ladies team took on Wymondham on the grass on Tuesday this week. After four away matches and four losses, the team were desperate to secure their first win of the season.

Chantelle and Ros playing the stronger of the two Wymondham pairs won 9-7 while Sandra and Dawn won 11-5 playing the weaker pair.

The second half of the match saw Sandra and Dawn struggling to win a game against the stronger Wymondham pair, going 0-5 down before taking the sixth game. At 1-7 down they managed to get their act together and go up several gears, winning 6 of the last eight games and finishing with a 7-9 win to Wymondham.
Meanwhile Chantelle and Ros knowing that Sandra and Dawn were struggling dug deep, only losing two games with a fantastic 14-2 win.

Blofield won 41-23, taking them off bottom place in Division 3 to a more presentable fifth place.
