Works continue on court 5 with the edging stones now concreted into place and the new post socketsts being concreted into place today.

Thursday will see the court take shape with the macadam being laid out and rolled to create the new surface.

While here, the contractors are replacing fences along the right hand side of the court and repairing a snapped tensioning wire on court 4.  

Painting of the new court is scheduled to start on 28 July after the tarmac has had the chance to cure. Court 4 will also be out of action for a day as we are taking the opportunity to undertake the annual pressure wash and minor paint repairs at the same time.

Advice is being taken regarding the re-commencement of play on court 5 and we will advise members as soon as known.
