Tuesday evening saw the Ladies team take on Aylsham B at Blofield.

Once again the weather forecast wasn’t good, but apart from a short shower it stayed dry and the match was played entirely on the grass. The courts held up well and helped push up the home advantage with a deserved Blofield win of 38-26.

Aylsham B had included one of their A team players in their team, but the home side were too strong for the visitors.

Chantelle and Anne lost 6-10 against Aylsham’s first pair,  while Karen and Dawn defeated Aylsham’s number two pair 13-3.

In the second set of matches, Karen and Dawn lost 7-9 against Aylsham’s number one pair, while Chantelle and Anne won 12-4 against Aylsham’s second pair.

The team have now won 3 matches out of 8 played and remain in 5th place in Division 3.

The next match is Tuesday 16 July at home vs East Anglia Tennis and Squash Club (Lime Tree Road) C, so another chance to push the home advantage on the grass......weather permitting!!!!
