Bothwell Tennis Club - provides affordable recreational tennis for all members of the community, in a family-friendly environment.
Welcome to the Bothwell Tennis Club website!
Whether you are already a member or are interested in joining the club you will find everything you need here.
The club is a not-for-profit Community Amateur Sports Club and is located at the top end of Mill Road in Bothwell. It is completely surrounded by houses and accessible only by way of a gate and footpath from Mill Road.
With only one court available the club is ineligible to participate in league tennis and the ethos is all-inclusive rather than competitive. Everyone, irrespective of age or ability, is welcome to come and play tennis just for fun.
We now have around a hundred members, a high proportion of which are families. Prospective new members are welcome to apply at any time of the year, but may have to join a waiting list.
For more information on how to join please see the Membership Tab and FAQs page.
Alternatively, email the Club Secretary (see 'Contact Details' page) or drop in to one of our open sessions. Social tennis is available on Thursday evenings from 7.00 - 9.30pm all year round; open coaching takes place on Monday evenings (juniors 7.15 - 8.15pm and adults 8.15 - 9.15pm) from May to October.
