2020 should be a very exciting year at Corbridge Tennis Club,

New Clubhouse.
The New Clubhouse project is now gathering pace, your committee have raised £67,000 of the £82,000 needed for this project to come to fruition.
The money has been raised by way of grants from Northumberland County Council 106 housing funds, Sport England Asset funds, a grant from Councillor Nick Oliver ( a Corbridge Resident) & our own Quiz Nights.

We are still waiting or planning approval but are confident this will be forthcoming soon.
Once planning approval has been granted we will immediately commence the building ground works.

Coaching.
We are vey fortunate to have the services of Jonathan Newton Tennis, they are planning to start a coaching programme early in The New Year.

Teams.
We are planning on entering 8 teams into the Northumberland & Durham leagues this season, as well as the usual 7, we are planning to have an over 65's men's team too. (its only 4 sets !)

Wimbledon Tickets.
We were allocated 8 pairs of Wimbledon tickets last season, one pair was for the Ladies Final too !
Any member who wishes to be considered for the Club Ballot, will need to opt into the LTA membership scheme to qualify, the deadline to opt in is 14th February 2020.
NB: The more members that opt in, the more tickets we allocated
