Luci and Janet won 6-3, 7-5

Hannah and Judy fought hard but lost 6-2, 0-6, 11-13 (tiebreak)

Therefore this is an overall win for Eardisley!

On a cold, wet, windy evening the team (Sarah, Anna, Janet and Judy) valiantly battled the elements, winning one rubber

Ladies B

28th May vs Woolhope

Ellie & Vyv were somewhat overwhelmed by the Woolhope Team in the first set and lost 1-6 but rallied to take every game to the edge in the second set but sadly still losing 2-6. 

Annie & Juliet played valiantly to take one set off our opponents but eventually lost the tie break. 6-4, 2-6, 3-10.

However as once more Woolhope fielded only one pair this was a win for Eardisley!

Whilst the weather was most certainly not flaming June it remained dry for our B Teams second match of the season against Leominster.  Vyv and Lou and Juliet and Lotte played exceptionally, and many rallies were clearly enjoyed as laugher rippled around our home courts to include a nail-biting tie break set in Vyv & Lou’s second match of the evening.  However, Leominster is a strong team as their results to date declare and they won handsomely.

Mens A Results

A hard fought 6-4 win for the Men’s A team on Monday 10th June away at Ross.  Both Chris and Nick (3-6, 4-6) and James and Ben (5-7, 2-6) lost to their first pair of (which included a Bedfordshire first division player! 

But we both had comfortable wins against the 2nd pair.  Three matches played, 20 points puts us in 2nd place in Division 5 West. 

Mens B Results

Sunday 9th June at home - vs Boughton Park D
Team: David & Gordon, Tom & Nathan. Solid performance from the home team, with consistency and depth of shot key in securing a win in all rubbers. The away team only managed to get 12 games from 8 rubbers. B-team now at third place in Division 6 West.​​​​​​​​​​​​
