As Dorset’s largest padel club we have regular coaching  drills and mix ins at a variety of levels.

CLUBDAY MIX INS AND COACHING

These sessions are displayed on the Academy page on the app and updated weekly.

Currently the only coaching sessions offered are Drills, at two levels, Beginner/Intermediate and Intermediate/ Advanced.

Unless you are already an experienced player you should try the Beginner level classes first before the coach confirms you are ready to move on to the Advanced level. Our normal cancelation policy of 12 hours before the session applies, so you should cancel any booking yourself through the app, if the coach cancels the class you will be notified through the app.

Clubday mixins are not coach led nor are balls provided. They are sessions where having booked and paid you turn up to play, mix in with others players and you provide the balls.  Our normal cancelation policy of 12 hours before the session applies, so you should cancel any booking yourself through the app. The groups are at three levels.

Beginner, which includes a wide range of improving abilities. Please only come to this session if you have already participated in some of the coaching drill sessions, know the rules of padel and the coach says you are ready to play. At this level you can keep the ball in play but you maybe inconsistent with volleys, the walls and overheads.

Intermediate, you have been playing for quite a while and not only understand the tactics and

strategy for the game but are able to take the ball off the back wall, deal with angles and a wide

variety of play. You have consistency around the court with control and pace, able to manage

pressure, strong overhead game and are able to attack from the back of the court.

Advanced, you have played for a long time, have experience constructing padel points, are

consistent and resourceful executing winners and the ability to force errors.

Please do not overestimate your level, no one will thank you for it. Try out at a lower level and if you are consistently the best in your group then it is time to move up.
