Our East Dorset Padel Coachis Richard Davies who was appointed effective 1 May 2025.  

Richard completed his BA Honours Degree in Sports Coaching and Development in 2014 and since then his sole purpose has been to coach and promote health and wellbeing to people of various ages across the County.  He has been working collaboratively with various schools along with private squash coaching (group and individual). His love and passion have transpired on to Padel where he received a Merit for his LTA Level 2 Padel Instructor Qualification.

LEVELLING UP SESSIONS

In addition to the classes listed below there are also additional levelling up sessions available from 2nd February 2026. For each session to go ahead, there must be at least three particpants as it’s a match scenario where the coach assesses your level. This will enable you to join the correct classes with players of a similar ability along with finding open matches.

Monday 19:30-21:00 Intermediate Skills and Drills – @ £15 per person playtomic level 2 and above

Tuesday 09:30-11:00 Beginner/Improver Skills and Drills @ £13 per person– playtomic level 0.1-2.0

Thursday 13:00-14:30 Beginner/Improver Skills and Drills @ £13 per person– playtomic level 0.1-2.0

Saturday 13:30-15:00 Intermediate Skills and Drills – @ £15 per person - playtomic level 2 and above

Saturday 09:00-10:00 Under 18 Juniors @ £10 per person

Levelling sessions at £20 per person

From 1 October 2025 he will be offering a 4-week course for beginners/ improvers and intermediates.  This will cover: serve and return, volley and overhead, glass, tactical match play.  Players will sign up for 4-week course at £60 per person off peak £68 per person peak maximum of 8 players. The courses will be programmed for 5 weeks to allow one bad weather day.  If not required the additional week to be offered to members of the course via playtomic.

Individual Coaching

£46 off peak per hour and £55.00 peak per hour weekends only.  This is inclusive of the court fee.
