Archery Welcomes ATP Pro for Grass Court Practice

As the ATP tour gears up for the grass court season next month, the pros are looking to get the feel for the green stuff. Edgbaston Archery & Lawn Tennis Society was delighted to welcome US world no. 222 Zach Zvajda over the weekend to practice on our newly-opened grass courts. Zach (20) turned pro in 2019 and won his maiden title at the 2022 Tiburon Challenger, defeating compatriot Ben Shelton. Having developed his game on American hard courts, he was keen to get some practice in on the grass in preparation for the Surbiton Challenger in June.

We very much enjoyed hosting Zach at the Archery and wish him all the best for the rest of the season!
