Christmas Meal - 6 December

Ho ho ho!!  This year's Christmas Meal will be at the Anchor Inn, Epney at 7 PM (for a 7.30 PM start) on Friday 6 December and we will be dining in a private suite upstairs. 

I'm sure you will agree that the menu (below) is reasonably priced and I hope that you will join us for the occasion. As usual, there will also be a festive quiz to entertain you.

Jenny Courts has kindly agreed to organise the event.  Could you please contact her directly - jennycourts@gmail.com - specifying your choices in advance. You will see that the two course option is £23 per head and three courses will be £28 per head. The deadline for orders is Wednesday 20 November to give the staff at the Anchor enough time to prepare for the event. Once you have notified Jenny of your menu choices, can you please pay the full amount in advance to the tennis club account  (Sort code 30-98-29, Acc No. 03978086) and make clear that the payment is for 'XMAS'

Starters

Curried parsnip soup (Vegetarian) Gluten Free available

Pate and toast with leafy garnish (GF available)

Spiced prawns with garnish and sweet chilli dip

Breaded garlilc mushrooms, leafy salad and garlic mayo (Vegetarian available)

Breaded camembert rounds with caramelised onion, chutney and leafy garnish (Vegan)

Mains

Traditional roast turkey with all the trimmings (GF available)

Roast topside of beef (GF available)

Roasted squash, brie, beetroot and truffle oil tart (GF and vegan)

(All above meals with roast potatoes and vegetables)

Penang curry served with rice (Veg, Vegan and GF available)

Herby salmon fillet with buttery lemon sauce (optional) served with new potatoes and seasonal vegetables

Christmas chicken burger with pigs in blankets, brie and cranberry - served with chips and salad.

Desserts

Christmas pudding, cheese and biscuits or a selection from the board.
