A HUGE congratulations goes to Zoe Pitcher who was part of the Lincolnshire Tennis U9 Girls' side that finished third in the National Finals in Graves, Sheffield, on Sunday!
Zoe contributed greatly to the team effort, winning three out of her four singles matches.
At the end of play, three counties were tied for third place so a Round Robin of tiebreak shootouts was played. Zoe and her teammates were able to win both of them, meaning they took the bronze medal.
Zoe said, "It was a really fun but long day. We started at 10am and were still playing at 7:30pm. It was great to play for the county against players from all over the country. I loved being part of the Lincs team, we've all become really good friends."
A big well done must also go to the GTC coaches who work with Zoe on a weekly basis!
