At Steyning Tennis Club, I run after school junior groups on a Monday, Thursday and Friday. There are 10 groups to choose from to suit a variety of ages and standards. The list of junior class days/times can be found at the bottom of this page, as well as on the Matthews Tennis Coaching app.
Our junior classes will be starting back up on January 6th - see below for term dates.
Players on the Junior Coaching Programme must become club members
Please note that all participants in the after school junior programme must be members of Steyning Tennis Club. This is great value (an annual membership is only £36 for a mini membership 10 & Under, or £67 for a junior membership 11 & Over). Our membership year begins on April 1st 2024 - if you are signing up part way through the membership season, you will only pay for the remaining months.
Term Dates 2025 (Julia's junior groups)
Spring Term - Runs from Monday 6th January until Saturday 5th April (no sessions w/c 17th February)
Summer Term - Runs from Tuesday 22nd April until Monday 21st July (no sessions w/c 26th May)
Payments for our junior groups
We use a subsciption model for our junior groups. In summary, the payment for 36 junior sessions per year is spread over 12 equal monthly payments (therefore, as a reminder, you will all have an August payment even though there are no sessions).
The cost per class works out as £7.50 for an hour's class and £6.67 for a 45 minute class. If you attend two or more sessions per week, the rate is reduced. For example, the rate is £6.50 if you sign up to 2 x hour classes per week.
If and when you wish to cancel your subscription, please let us know with a month's notice. For example, if you let us know in July, it is likely that your August payment will still happen and then your subscription will be cancelled. We are keeping track of when you initially subscribed and how many sessions have taken place since then to ensure that the amount paid has been fair to you.
