Bambino Tennis is our brand new Tots Programme for children aged 2 to 5, where the child attends the class with their parents. 

Based on extensive research, we have put together a syllabus based around a 'Tennis Playground' for the youngest players to explore an exciting world of rackets, nets, balls, hoops, Blazepod lights and more!

In our 'Tennis Playground' children rotate through a number of different activities designed to improve their agility, balance and coordination as well as their sending and receiving skills with particular emphasis on tennis. 

With most exercises the progressions follow a F.A.B progression system standing for Floor, Air and Bounce. Younger children tend to initially find the ball easiest to hit on the floor, then in the air, with the most challenging being hitting after a bounce. It is our aim through the Bambino programme for all children to be able to hit the ball over the net after a bounce as quickly as possible using a forehand and backhand and progress into rallying. We also seek to develop basic serves and volleys. 

For Bambino Tennis the equipment is modified, rackets are smaller, nets are lower and balls are bigger and softer. The entire playground is designed to give young children the best possible chance of early success. 

We are so excited to see young children learn, and the learning lasts a lifetime, as we learn along with them.
