Junior Fixture v Thrapston

Oundle Tennis Club had their first junior fixture of the season against Thrapson on Sunday. Thrapson brought over 4 players while Oundle provided 8 and each pair played 9 games against the opposition 3 pairs. Some competitive tennis was had with a number of the matches going to 5-4 or 6-3 and the children clearly enjoyed the shortened format which they were playing as well as the fantastic weather which we had on Sunday. Oundle are looking to organise similar fixtures in the near future against Kettering, City Peterborough and Stamford as well as hosting and organising LTA tournaments next year.
