Alessia is a Level 3 coach who provides a fun and positive learning environment for all levels of play.  She has over 10 years coaching experience and has worked with a wide range of ages and abilities, from beginners to county level players.

Alessia has played competitively for 18 years, from 10 & Under age group through to ladies’ teams.  She represented University of Stirling as a player and captained the team for two years.  Alessia has also represented the North of Scotland at County Cup and qualified for the Road to Wimbledon National Finals in 2005.

Alessia has coached at various tennis venues, including Dunfermline, Brucehaven, Craiglockhart, Gannochy and Kinross.  She has worked on schools’ tennis programmes and has experience working with wheelchair players and children with learning disabilities.

Alessia has recently returned to Scotland from California where she spent 18 months working for Cliff Drysdale Tennis, delivering junior and adult clinics, team training and private lessons.  She now delivers the coaching programme at Fossoway Tennis Club.
