After two days of competitive tennis in very warm conditions, the 10U team from South Wales was victorious in the LTA County Cup Qualifying Event held at Royal Wootton Bassett Tennis Club.   The team now progresses to the County Cup Regional Finals in a few weeks’ time.

The Wiltshire team found the competition tough going in the four way round-robin challenge with teams drawn from Berkshire, Dorset and South Wales.  The format for these matches gives the boys opportunities to play singles and doubles tennis, building all-round match-play abilities.  It is a credit to the players that the standard of sporting behaviour was excellent across both days of action.

RWB Tennis Club hosts another round of County Cup Qualifiers over the weekend of 15-16 June.
