South Yorkshire Visually Impaired Tennis Club (SYVITC) have been presented with two awards at the Yorkshire LTA County Awards ceremony! The Club won Tennis For All (Inclusion) and the Club Secretary and co-founder, Janiece, won Volunteer of the Year!

All involved in the Club are so proud of these prestigious awards, particularly as the Club has still to complete its first year as a member’s club.  Being funded and supported by organisations (such as SRSB, Nuffield Health, LTA, Dan Maskell Tennis Trust, British Blind Sports, Yorkshire Sport Foundation, Co-Op, Greene King, Wilson and more), plus our motivated coaches from Ability Tennis, Ben Jaggy and Jess, and a team of willing volunteers, has without any doubt, been an essential part of the achievement we have seen.  SYVITC will continue to aim to provide award winning inclusive tennis to the visually impaired community of South Yorkshire and the surrounding region.
