Wimbledon is starting to get serious. Jo Konta's cracking run to the quarters came to an end yesterday, which means Britain's hopes turn to Andy Murray in the mixed doubles. With mum, Judy, looking on from the stands on centre court, it is clear for all to see that she would prefer to be back at Spencer Lawn Tennis Club. Sunday evening's event, which saw Judy Murray lead a coaching session on the Spencer grass courts for a group of American tourists went extremely well. With our very own super chef John C, as well as Matt, Anne and Rhiannon getting involved in the action it was a really fun evening for all involved. The event helped raise funds for the tennis section of Spencer, which will be reinvested back into the club, as well as showing off our facilities to British tennis royalty.
