Stapleford Tennis Club

1. The Club is named Stapleford Tennis Club and is based at Stapleford, Cambridgeshire using facilities belonging to Stapleford Parish Council. 

2. The Club is affiliated to the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA). As part of this affiliation, Public Liability Insurance is maintained, and other governance arrangements such as Safeguarding Policy are in place. 

3. An Annual General Meeting of the Club shall be held each year at which adult Club members shall be entitled to vote. Fourteen days' notice of any Annual General Meeting of the Club shall be given.

4. A management Committee shall be elected at the Annual General Meeting and it will be responsible for the running of the Club. Names of Committee members and contact details for the Club shall be displayed on the Club website.

5. The management Committee shall meet as required and as a minimum of once per quarter. 
The property of the Club shall be kept by the Committee.

6. An Extraordinary General Meeting of the Club may be called at any time by the Committee provided fourteen days' notice of time, place, date and purpose are given to all Members.

7. Voting at the Annual General Meetings and Extraordinary General Meetings shall be by show of hands.

8. A statement of accounts for the 12 months of the financial year shall be presented to the Annual General Meeting.

9. Memberships available will be displayed on the Club website and application is via the website.  Membership categories may be varied from time to time, as agreed by the Committee.  

10. Priority, subsidised booking of the courts is provided for  STC Members.  Accordingly, all those using the courts to play or supervise others (from within the MUGA fence) during any such Member-booked time slots must be a current club Member.

11. Members must abide by the Rules for Safe Play, as well as the Terms and Conditions of use of the courts; both are available on the Club website. 

12. The Club may reserve the courts for matches, tournaments, coaching and Club sessions and shall notify members as needed.
