Behaviour

• Players should help to create a safe, inclusive, accessible, welcoming and enjoyable environment, both on and off the court.
• Players should treat all other players fairly and with respect.
• Players should encourage other players to have respect for one another and to conduct themselves with integrity.
• Offensive language and behaviour will not be tolerated.

Court Etiquette

• Players should act with honesty, integrity and in a sporting manner and in the best interests of the game.
• Do not walk past a court when play is in progress – wait until the point is finished.
• Switch mobile phones to silent in the vicinity of the courts.
• Do not use chewing gum on the courts.

Footwear and Dress code

• Proper tennis shoes must be worn to avoid damage to the surface; these must be without heels and any tread or pattern should be flat. If inappropriate footwear or clothing is being worn, you may be asked to leave the court.
• The club has a relaxed dress code but we do ask members to wear only suitable sports clothing. Shirts must be kept on at all times.
