Cambourne Tennis Club

Welcome to  Cambourne Tennis Club in Cambridgeshire.

Cambourne Tennis Club is an expanding tennis club that was set up in 2003 with a handful of keen players and has grown steadily year on year and now reached 400 members. 

At the end of 2016 a further 3 new Tennis courts were built, giving us now a total of 5 floodlit macadam courts located behind the Everyone Active sports centre off Back Lane ,which can be used all year round by our club members.

We are a friendly inclusive club and we welcome players of all ages and abilities, whether you are looking to take up the sport for the first time or you are an experienced regular competitive player, we have suitable social, competitive and coaching settings to help you integrate into the club. In line with our commitment to making tennis available to all,  we welcome children and adults with disabilities to the club.  Whether it is coming to social tennis sessions, playing for a team or having coaching, we will try its utmost to cater for what disabled people would like from an inclusive tennis club. Our coach Toby Jackson is available to discuss individual requirements and what we have to offer.

Our Head Coach, Toby from Game Set Tennis, has made a huge impact on the coaching programme at Cambourne LTC  since joining the club, with  around 200 juniors and adults involved in group or individual lessons.  (Please see the Coaching section for more information and how  to book your sessions). He has also achived one of the highest accolades , LTA Tennis Award,  County coach of the year for 2018/19! This is a very prestigious  and much sort after  award and a very deserved one for Toby. 

We currently have 4 Mens, 2 Ladies and 3 Mixed Teams.  We enter lots of Adults, Juniors and Vets teams in Cambridgeshire leagues, knock-out format tournaments and club ladder leagues throught the year.  If you are interested in joining the club teams or general competition,  please contact our Competition Secretary or find further information on the Club Team area.

For a more relaxed way of enjoying Tennis and meeting other members we hold twice-weekly Adult Social Sessions on: Wednesdays 19:00-22:00 and Sundays 10:00-12.00.  Please see the Adult Social section for more details.

We also have various fun tournaments held throughout the year with evening social events too, which are updated regularly in the What’s On section, so be sure to check back often.
