Background
The Venue for our Indoor Tennis Classes 2025 is Leeds Trinity University, LS18 5HD, with the exception of our Tuesday evening class which takes place at St Paul's Church Hall, Cookridge, LS16 6BS.
We keep class sizes small and player to coach ratios low to help players improve as quickly as possible so places are limited. Please book as soon as possible to secure your child's place.
New to Optimal Tennis - Why not have a trial run?
If you are new to Optimal Tennis, please get in touch and book a trial to any class where there is space. Our trial package comprises of 3 lessons. This gives your child a chance to try tennis with us over multiple weeks, as well as giving us a chance to advise. Cost of Trial £20.
Competing Player?
We have invitational and compete classes for competing players, please get in touch to discuss your child's requirements and/or book a trial.

Why send your child to Optimal Tennis?
We aim to help children achieve excellence through our tennis coaching programme and pride ourselves on accelerating the learning process through our low class sizes, and syllabus combining 'Constraints Based Learning' and optimising biomechanical efficiency through a 'Brad Langevad, Sports Biometrics' inspired technical syllabus.
We always welcome new starters and are always looking to grow the game of tennis. If you are interested in your child starting lessons with us, please get in touch so we can discuss your child's individual requirements.
If your child has not done classes with us before please provide their, Name, Date of Birth, Email Address, Emergency Contact Name and Number, Details of any Special or Medical Requirements.
Please note, the LTA has rebranded / restructured classes previously referred to as 'Mini Tennis or Junior Tennis' as 'LTA Youth'.
Terms and Conditions
Bookings are per class and for block specified in the schedule above.
The booking gives the child the right to attend the specified class at the designated times.
Should a child not be able to attend a particular session within the block of booked sessions, Optimal Tennis may at it's own discretion attempt to find a suitable alternative class for them in lieu of the missed class/es. This relies on their being a suitable alternative class/es with space in it. There is no obligation on Optimal Tennis to provide an alternative class and no refund will be given if the class took place at the specified date and time.
If a particular class session does not take place at the time and date specified the child will be offered a 'make up' class at another time or a deduction on the following block of classes or be allowed to attend the number of classes that did not take place in the next block of classes in lieu of the missed classes without further charge.
Optimal Tennis do not expect any of the above classes to be cancelled in their entirety (ie. the particular class does not run at all) but reserves the right to cancel any class. If a class is cancelled altogether then an alternative class will be offered, if this is not suitable any payments made towards a cancelled class would be refunded.
