POLICY ON ACCESS TO THE CLUBHOUSE FOR JUNIOR MEMBERS

Recognising the club's very important 'duty of care' towards all its Junior Members (Under 18s) and the general requirements for the safety and security of the clubhouse and grounds:

1. Junior members are entitled to use the courts, clubhouse and changing rooms at their parents' discretion. They are not allowed access to the clubhouse unless an adult is present.

2. Responsibility for the security and use of the clubhouse key remains that of the parent or guardian.

3. The key to the clubhouse should not be given to junior members.

4. In cases where parents allow their junior members to play unsupervised, the parent retains responsibility for their child. This is not recommended for children below the age of 13.

5. Junior members may have access to the clubhouse as part of a junior event only when a supervising adult is present.

6. Parent keyholders are very welcome to use the facilities of the clubhouse, such as the kitchen and the seating areas along with their junior members.
