At the heart of the community... A family orientated club for all ages and abilities

Coronavirus update: THE CLUB IS CLOSED until 14th April

In light of the Prime Minister's announcement on 23rd March banning gatherings of more than two people we are obliged to close the Club from midnight on Monday 23rd March.

This will be for a period of three weeks, ie until midnight Monday 13th April. An additional lock will be put on the gates tomorrow morning. The coaches will be informed.

We await any update from the Government and will advise you straight away when this situation changes.

We ask you for your understanding in these difficult times.

THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE

We welcome everyone from absolute beginners to serious players - come and join us!

Since its inception in 1979, and with the continuing evolution, the club maintains its original ethos – to offer excellent well maintained facilities for all ages and abilities, as well as having a superb reputation for being a very social and family orientated club alongside a high standard of competitive tennis. We offer coaching programmes for all and are particularly keen to encourage juniors. Currently there are circa 400 Members, many of which are families.

The club prides itself on being organised, maintained and run mainly through the goodwill of its Members. The only paid staff are the cleaner and the gardener. All other work at the club is purely on a volunteer basis, so we encourage members to play their part and offer whatever time or skills they can to help the club maintain its standards and reputation.

The Club is situated close to the Woodland Trust in the heart of Bearsted between the Holy Cross Church and the Ashford Road (A20)

Never played before?... Think it’s too difficult?... Nobody to play with?...

If you are thinking of joining but have some reservations, don't worry, we can help in various ways.

We can introduce you to players of a similar ability.
You can enrol on one of our great value 6 week coaching courses.
Try before you buy – pay a pro-rata membership fee after the course if you wish to continue.
Or why not come along and meet us at one of our Open Days?

And remember, there's no joining fee and we don't charge court fees either, so it's great value. Take a look at the benefits of membership here.
