Despite the gloomy forecast of rain, 28 men were determined not to be put off taking part in the annual Men's Social Day on Saturday 7th June. The luck was on our side as the rain stayed away for most of the day and Alastair Hill did an amazing job organising a seeded round robin system that enabled everyone to have alternate partners and opponents throughout the day. It was followed by a fantastic BBQ - with thanks to Dave Paine for persevering in the rain late on! Also to Malinee Duckworth for helping with the food and Siripen O'Connell for assisting Alistair, and everyone else who helped with the bar and clearing up.

Congratulations to the winners – Neil Frost (for the 3rd time!!), and his partner in the final, Daniel Ratcliff. Also to Alan Jenkins and Ayo Ajani who didn't go home empty handed as they received the wooden spoon!
